The Road to Rohan
Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli pursue a band of orcs into Rohan.
My favorite part about Tolkien’s tales were the elf, dwarf, and ranger who would come to be friends along their travels. To me they symbolized all that could come from traveling companions along roads and in life. I think of them today as I meet with old friends for drinks or the gaming table. I think of them when I introduce myself to someone new. Even though our paths diverge we’re never really far apart.
