Change can often mean the breaking down of what came before. Here, we view the moment right before a great upheaval as a martyr attempts to dethrone a foreign power. The saboteurs storm the throne room behind him as some guards leap to action while others stand still. No matter what occurs, whether he is successful or not, the timid calm that came before will erupt into chaos.
