war

ARES— saying the name brings strong imagery to anyone's mind. Each person has their own idea of what the god, the idea, resembles that is very personal to them. I imagined the god of war as a matriarch of might and ruin. He revels in the spoils of victory without thought for the useless loss. Without worry for the uncertain rebuilding that accompanies it. The god of war is our natural wrath.
